Dover Castle Keep Window, Mk.4
A detail shot of one of the windows in Henry II's Great Tower (The Keep) in Dover Castle. Spent a happy couple of hours looking out the various windows, marveling at the thickness of the walls, and capturing the angles and textures of this fascinating place. Feel there are going to be a number of visits here to seek out the details and photograph them. Kept these all to black and white to concentrate on the textures, trying to give that tactile feeling, just want to reach out and touch them....
