Infra-Red
I recently acquired a Nikon D7000, which had been professionally converted to shoot in 720nm infra-red. This effectively cuts out all visible light below 720nm (this is pretty much all we see with the human eye). These infra-red conversions are particularly good if you wish to shoot high contrast black and white.
