Close to Sossusvlei in Namibia, Deadvlei is a clay pan characterized by dark, dead camel thorn trees contrasted against the white pan floor. The pan was formed when the Tsauchab River flooded and the abundance of water allowed camel thorn trees to grow. However, the climate changed and the sand dunes encroached on the pan, blocking the river from reaching the area. The trees are estimated to be approximately 900 years old, but have not decomposed due to the dry climate.

All fine art prints are printed on FotoSpeed 240gsm UltraMatte Photographic Paper using archival pigment inks with a life expectancy of over 100 years.

All metal prints are UV direct printed onto a matt surface aluminium composite, giving rich colours and fine details. An aluminium subframe is provided at the rear of the print to assist with hanging. A floating frame system is available on request.

Please contact me for custom sizes and framing. Framing is available on request, but is not offered as an option when purchasing due to the cost of shipping framed prints.
