Looking for an unusual gift for a pet lover, or a keepsake of your furry friend?
Why not have a framed photograph of a single hair from your pet wrapped around a grain of sand from their favourite beach? All I require are a few hairs from your pet, a small amount of sand, and I'll do the rest. If you are local to Folkestone, I do have sand from The Warren and Sunny Sands available already, so all I would need are a few hairs.
The actual grain of sand and hair used will be presented to you in a small glass bottle along with the framed print.
How does it work? When you place your order, I will send you a stamped, self addressed envelope with two small ziplock bags for you to post the strands of hair and sand back to me. Once I receive them, the total process takes a few days. I will then post the framed print and glass bottle back to you. If you are local, you are very welcome to pop into Hut 22 on the Folkestone Harbour Arm Market over the weekend for a chat and to drop-off and collect.
I am open to other ideas you might have, some suggestions have been horse hair with strands of grass from their favourite field, or two different pet hairs tied together. I will work with you to try and realise your ideas.
