50 Days of May

I had started a portrait project at the beginning of 2020 entitled 366 Days of 2020, in which I was photographing a person a day, but Covid-19 brought that to a very sudden halt.

In order to get my eye into portraiture again, I set myself a month long challenge of photographing a person a day during the month of May. I did want to keep the background as recognisably Folkestone, although not all the characters are Folkestone residents. This became popular and ran for 50 days in total. It is currently a mixture of friends and people who volunteered once they had heard of the project. My thanks go out to all of them for their time and their patience.
